Mission Statement
To provide high quality, affordable aviation publications in an electronic, or digital, format and to promote an interest in aircraft and aviation, past and present.
Aviation eBooks was established in 2006 with just this goal in mind. In the history of humankind's inventions and industrial and technological developments, none has captivated people everywhere as much as the aircraft. From the earliest ascents in balloons to the frontline fighters and helicopters and mammoth transports of today, interest in aviation and aviators has not dulled. One has only to observe the end of an active runway at airports big and small to see that people are still very much interested - families, enthusiasts, young and old alike. For those that caught the 'bug' at a young age the interest, latent at some times, is nevertheless always there.
Publications presented by Aviation eBooks will often be focused on, but not limited to, current or recent aviation subjects and will also include a fair bit of history. Like any other technical subject, aviation today has evolved over time. Unlike most, its history is rich with inspiration and sacrifice and accomplishment in war and peace. A great many future subjects, by the very nature of the machines and missions and times in which we live, will be concerned with military aviation and aircraft, past and present but it is not intended that civil aviation subjects be left out.
This Aviation eBooks website serves two purposes. It will obviously inform as to the status of current and upcoming publications but it will also provide a variety of aircraft and aviation images from a selection of recent events as well as the odd few from the past 30 years.
